I will probably just get the adapter for now, but am tempted to get some sturdier pedals since the Thrustmaster ones are quite light and don't love centering out unless I take my feet all the way off them.Star Citizen supports multiple types of game peripherals including joysticks, rudders, mouse, keyboard, and more. I'm actually a fan of the VKB pedals to fly choppers, but they work great in Elite as accelerator and brake for the SRV. It's the same adapter used for both racing and flight pedals. You may find some on ebay, perhaps from people who have a spare one. Shove it under your desk or something.ĮDIT: I just googled that adapter and this was first on the list In the mean time, if you upgrade your throttle and stick, you can simply leave the pedals connected to your old throttle and not use it. You didn't get the adapter because you bought the pedals with the throttle. You can buy a USB adapter that will connect the pedals directly to the PC via USB. Originally posted by MichaelFrazzy. So my rudder pedals are not USB, they plug into the back of the T16000 throttle with what looks like a mini ethernet cable or something. Heres a link to a vid I made of my Warthog set up which (will be doing a much better one soon) shows it mounted to the desk using affordable J-Pein mounts. ![]() When i use the Warthog set up everything falls into place and theres buttons for everything without having to use a modifier for too many things. I play Star Citizen also and it see's them. The X52 Pro is a very well made stick and is great if you don't have Pedals because it has twist for yaw but I'm finding many buttons are not accessible without using the config software in Elite. ![]() I don't use the configuration software to keep down the number of programs running in the back ground. I have a couple PC's and play on PS4 Pro also using different Joystick set ups ( Warthog with Ch pedals, X52 Pro, and for PS4 T Flight 4) and if you like the Pedals then the Warthog will make you very happy. In my opinion, it was a really good purchase for this game. In general, it should serve you many years without problems. Especially if you also have Voice Attack. I wish the throttle had a bit more of buttons and fewer of switches, but the whole setup has enough of controls not to touch a keyboard. I have about 4000 hours of Elite on mine - works just as new, no dead zones or drifting. Both joystick and throttle are plugged directly into USB ports, so if your pedals also plug into an USB - you should be fine. ![]() Or you can use a little knob joystick on a throttle as yaw. You will have to get used to moving it around.Īlso it doesn't have a twist axis, so you should use those rudder pedals.
